Matt and Ryan, the founders and owners of Twisted Tree Services, have built a successful partnership rooted in their long-standing friendship that began early in their careers as electrical linemen. Their shared experiences taught them the importance of prioritizing safety, efficiency, and quality work, which they have seamlessly integrated into the core values of their business. Matt and Ryan remain committed to providing top-notch tree services while ensuring a safe and productive environment for both their employees and clients.

  • OWNER/OPERATOR

    Matt was born and raised in the Shawano area, where he continues to live and raise his family. For the past 15 years, he has worked as an electrical lineman, traveling across Wisconsin and assisting with storm response nationwide.

    Matt’s experience in power line construction and maintenance has cultivated his specialized skills in tree trimming, removal, and storm damage and mitigation, while working at heights through both aerial devices and climbing techniques. This background has also equipped him with valuable arborist knowledge and a diverse range of tools and equipment essential for tree care.

    Matt’s background has created a foundation that enables him to leverage his expertise into building a successful business focused on quality, safety and exceptional service.

    Ryan's last 12 years working as an electrical lineman has not only shaped his career but has also deepened his connection to nature. Growing up in northern Wisconsin, he developed a profound passion for the outdoors, particularly hunting. This love for nature has led him to acquire extensive knowledge about trees and the environment around him.

    For the last three years, Ryan has worked in the mountain ranges of Northern California. His job often involves reaching extreme heights, where safety is of utmost importance. Operating in these remote areas often required the use of helicopters for transport to and from structures. This experience has not only fortified his comfort with heights but has also instilled a strong commitment to safety protocols in his work.

    Ryan's background and skills allow him to navigate the complexities of both the demands of the tree service business and the environment. His passion for the outdoors drives him to ensure that his projects respect his surroundings.
